MENOPAUSE SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS
Hazle Drugs Menopause Support Group meetings are an opportunity for women to share their feelings and concerns confidentially about menopause, mid-life issues, and other women health related matters.
Lori Ann Gormley, R.Ph., CME is our Certified Menopause Educator and Bio-Identical Hormone expert. Lori is here to educate you and help you cope with the physical symptoms and emotions of menopause along with dealing with lifestyle and attitude changes.
Some women go through menopause and have no symptoms at all. Others experience hot flashes, night sweats, weight changes, mood swings, sleep disturbances, loss of libidio, changes in their menstrual cycle and irritability. No matter what your symptoms are, attending our menopause support group meeting is a great opportunity to help you make some healthy lifestyle changes.
Hazle Drugs Menopause Support Group is a great way to connect with people that can relate to what you are going through. As much as we instinctively look to our partners, children, and extended family for understanding, we sometimes cannot find that support. Through no fault of their own, they simply haven’t experienced the mental, hormonal and emotional changes. And often, when we are in the process of redefining ourselves, we spark changes in others. So, they may be going through their own readjustments, and are unable to offer the friendship we may crave.
Our Menopause Support Group also offers a way to express and chart our own journeys, as well as find mirrors to our experience in the sharing of others. They can help us feel less isolated and sometimes it is easier to talk about things away from your direct family circle. There are some issues you may just not feel comfortable discussing with them. Or perhaps you just don’t want to have to “explain” how or why you feel as you do all the time.
