Billy Spear
PharmacistBilly is a 3rd generation pharmacist of the Spear family. Billy graduated in 2021 from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts obtaining his Doctor of Pharmacy degree where he was a consistent Dean’s List student.
Billy’s passion for becoming a pharmacist stemmed from working with his father and grandfather growing up at Hazle Drugs. “My father and grandfather are both hardworking independent community pharmacists. My father has been working at Hazle Drugs for over 40 years and has grown and expanded Hazle Drugs and Hazle Compounding nationally. My grandfather, who recently passed away at 87 years old, was involved with Hazle Drugs for over 65 years and was the driving force behind our business”.
Throughout High School and Pharmacy School, Billy worked at Hazle Compounding. Working beside my father and grandfather who are both Compounding Pharmacists and our nationally recognized staff of compounding experts, made me want to follow in their footsteps.
Billy educates patients about the benefits that compounding can provide. He works to keep up to date on the most current practices and strives to be a resource for providers interested in finding solutions through personalized compounding.
